Center for American Literary Studies in Ukraine 

The Center for American Literary Studies in Ukraine works not only within the country but establishes communication of different kinds and directions with americanists abroad. Thus, the Center collaborates actively with:

- Fulbright Program in Ukraine: American Fulbrighters take part in the scholar activity of the Center (Dr. Ph. A. Cavalier, Prof. Е. Frykholm, Prof. N. Polk, Prof. H. Simmons, Prof. J. Bresfield); younger representatives of the Center win grants for junior researchers (А. Rozova, N. Bidasuk, Y. Ткachuk, М. Shymchyshyna); experienced scholars who work in the Center becomes Ukrainian Fulbright Professors (T Denysova, N. Vysotska, G. Zaporozhets, O. Gon).

- Kennen Institute in Ukraine (N. Vysotska, Т. Mykhed).

- Russian American Studies Association: Russian famous americanists take part in the scholar activity of the Center (М. Anastasyev, К. Stetsenko, М. Koreneva, Т. Venedyktova, О. Osovsky, etc.); representatives of the Center as well take part in the arrangements of the Association (Т. Denysova, N. Vysotska, O. Gon, O. Dubinina, G. Kolomiyets, N. Pustovoytova, N. Bidosuk, G. Pokydko, L. Kazakova, A. Rozova, etc.).

- Belarusian American Studies Association: Belarusian scholars are actively involved in the activity of the Center (Y. Stulov); representatives of the Center as well take part in the arrangements of the Association (Т. Denysova, N. Vysotska, O. Gon, Т. Mykhed, O. Babych, etc.).

- Polish American Studies Association: Polish scholars are invited (J. Durczak, J. Durczak); representatives of the Center as well take part in arrangements of the Association (O. Dubinina, G. Gaydash, Y. Tkachuk, N. Bidosuk, A. Rozova, etc.).

- European American Studies Association: representatives of the Center take part in arrangements of the Association (Т. Denysova, N. Vysotska).

The Center organizes international conferences on the U.S. literature, which had been conducted from 1999, and became significant scholar events within Ukraine as well as abroad. Outstanding scholars from different countries contributed to these conferences, particularly from the USA in different years there were such scholars as I. Hassan, J. McGann, А. Melnyczuk, E. Elliott, P. O'Donnell, Y. Tarnavsky. Representatives of the Center as well take part in different international conferences on the American literature.

Advisory committee of foreign experts-americanists is being created for the coordination of the Center work.
